Major Staff Announcement: Vice Pres. Green, Sr. Regional Director Sharpe Promoted

For immediate Release (3/1/2019)

(Phi Sigma Phi HQ): Phi Sigma Phi has seen growth, turbulence, failures, and successes over the past five years.  As an organization, we have evolved and are stronger than ever. The success we have seen is in no small part due to the dedication and support of our Dennis Goodwin as National Executive Director.

Because of this, it is both with sadness and excitement that we must announce the outgoing of NED Dennis Goodwin, who is moving into a new role in the private sector, effective July 1, 2019. National President, Travis Steinke, had this to say, “We are indebted to Dennis for all of his hard work and dedication. He truly exemplified the tenants of Phi Sigma Phi in both his work and his walk of life.”

Just as seasons change, so must a new season come for Phi Sigma Phi. It is with that framework that we are excited to announce the appointment of Brandon Green as National Executive Director. Brandon has served as a National Vice President for the past six years and holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Concord University. Brandon brings his extensive knowledge of accounting and business organizations to his new role as Executive Director. Green’s tenure as NED will begin at the start of the new fiscal year on July 1, 2019. Until then, he will work with NED Goodwin as they transition to their new roles. Green had this to say about his appointment, “I am looking forward to this new adventure. Phi Sigma Phi is such a huge part of my life and I am sincerely honored to be able to use my abilities to help further the goals of this great organization.”

With the new vacancy at the National Vice President position, National President Travis Steinke did not have to look far to fill the position. “When the time came to make the decision, I could think of no one better than Joseph Sharpe for the position. He is dedicated to the fraternity, he is the embodiment of our values, and he’s a work horse. We are so lucky to have a number of great staff members in this organization like Joe and I know he is going to do great things in his new role!”  Joe assumes the National Vice President position effective immediately and has already begun taking on new challenges for the fraternity. At LDA in August, he expects to announce his agenda for his term which will run until Conclave 2020.

Congratulations are in order for Dennis, Brandon, and Joe. Thank you all for your service and for continually making this fraternity proud!
