On Saturday, April 25, 2015, Twenty-Three men from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin became CHARTERED INITIATES of Phi Sigma Phi: Drew William Brusoe (Founder), Ethan August Conover (Founder), Andres Mattie Rguig (Founder), Colby Ryan Sievert (Founder and also OMEGA CHAPTER Alumnus, who brought Phi Sigma Phi to UW-Stevens Point), Timothy Matthew Treu (Founder), Justin Thomas Wieseler (Founder), Ethan Nathanael Cates, Reginald Charles David Duncan, Brett Anthony Jensen, George Loren Jensen, Benjamin Jacob Klatt, Jonathon Dale Lang, Zachary David Larson, James Joseph Lorrigan, Matthew David Meverden, Joshua Adam Nauber-Finch, Ethan Samuel Robers, Andrew Joachim Seibold, Daniel James Tomaszewski, Zachary Scott Weber, Haydn Michael Wolff, Rayven Kain Wolske, and Lewis George Zwiefelhofer.
The Phi Sigma Phi National Staff was represented by National Vice-President Dustin Blankenship, National Vice-President Mark Helling, National Vice-President Travis Steinke (who did almost all the official National Fraternity work to bring KAPPA CHAPTER to CHARTERING), National Executive Director David Prueher, and Chapter Consultant Mike Brennan. Phi Iota Chapter Alumnus Paul Jarosh (PJ) also was in attendance, as well as Derik Jones and Cody Maximus Barnes, both who are EPSILON ZETA CHAPTER Brothers from Fairmont, West Virginia, who made the drive all the way up to Wisconsin to attend KAPPA CHAPTER’S CHARTERING. That was an impressive show of Brotherhood from our West Virginia Brothers!
After the Chartering Ceremony, a reception was held, attended by KAPPA CHAPTER Brother’s family, and friends, as well as representatives of other Greek organizations at UW-Stevens Point, and members of the UW-Stevens Point administration.
Congratulations to KAPPA CHAPTER, Phi Sigma Phi’s newest Chapter. We are ALL proud of you for your hard work and dedication to become Brothers of Phi Sigma Phi, and we look forward to much more good things to come!
